2025 Annual Assembly

The Annual Assembly where block unit members from throughout the St. Louis region come together and share and exchange information used to improve their quality of life. This annual celebration is where newly elected officers are sworn in and is accompanied by a community resource fair. The Annual Assembly meeting shall be held in June of each year.

2025 Our Beloved Communities

The Our Beloved Communities A LIVE DISCUSSION Series is an educational and engagement forum where members are able to discuss policy and outcomes related to community issues and challenges.

2025 #BlackWallStreet314 Festival

#BlackWallStreet314 celebrates black culture and focuses on uplifting and complimenting residents and businesses working together to have an improved community. This year’s festival will highlight the concerted effort in improving housing stock, business development, resident capacity building and anti-displacement totaling over $9 million dollars. The fight against racism and all other forms of injustice starts with the black dollar.

2025 Martin Luther King Day

Our Annual Mid-County Martin Luther King Jr Celebration is the largest in St. Louis County. We honor the life of civil rights hero Rev. Martin Luther King with a leadership brunch, service project, parade, and program. Block Unit members from throughout the region attend and recommit themselves to bringing his dream a reality.

Season of Service Campaign

Volunteering is an essential component of a well-rounded and fulfilling life experience, and we would like to help you get involved and make a difference. Every year, block unit members serve its community. The Season of Service Program is a voluntary program offering FBU members, volunteers, and community stakeholders across the St. Louis region an opportunity to place themselves at the service of others. Individuals volunteer at selected dates and sites throughout the 2023 event calendar year, as their schedules allow. The programs are organized by populations served and type of service.

The Salute to Women in Leadership Gala stands as a prestigious annual affair, a dedicated platform to honor the extraordinary accomplishments of relentless and exceptional women. With a deep sense of pride, the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, Inc. warmly embraces the opportunity to acknowledge these remarkable women, who serve as the embodiment of our organization’s mission —Empowering communities and changing lives.
